Thank you to Nick, Chris and Andrew for the massive effort with the apple pressing, once again making sure that all fruit was processed into juice or cider.
The Whittling was fantastically supervised by Chris Woodyard and sometimes Arthur Nicholson whoose sister Poppy ran a wonderful glitter and face painting cattle trailer.
Aedda’s Farm Distillery ran the cocktail bar which went down a storm, particularly the Cornish Sunset made from Kea Plum Liqueur and Aedda’s also judged the cider and Liqueur competition. Dan Young retained the cider trophy and Bianca Genaro-Crow, with her Limoncello won the plate for liqueur.
The Afghan rug shop was welcomed back after a hiatus of 2 years, this always is a treat for us and adds a wonderful colour to the event with their vibrant wares – thank you Wilthews.
The money hasn’t been counted properly yet, but folk were as generous as ever and raised somewhere in the region of £4000 and thank you to the sponsors who make this possible:
