Due to restrictions this years Adstocktoberfest had to be reduced to only the apple pressing element and thank you so much to Nick Kelly and Richard Inman for doing all the scratting and pressing. A few did turn up to take advantage of the service, but it was not a good year for apples in Adstock due to fact that apples that survived the late frost were blown away in one of the many storms that hit us. All things considered, raising £182 for Afghanaid was a good result, as was the post pressing, socially distanced booze-up!
We have also a good few entrants for the cider and liqueur competitions and the results will be announced in the not too distant future….
