It was a real disappointment to have to cancel Adstocktoberfest this year, but we managed to successfully provide a juicing and cider making service for those that wanted it and with the introduction of the new scratter, the process was about 5 times quicker than it was last year.
90 litres of cider was made for the benefit of the orchard and it’s been decided that it will be distilled and sold to those wishing to make a fruit liqueur and enter it in to next year’s competition which, with all fingers crossed, will take place on October 2 2021.
