North West Bucks Agricultural Association Annual Prize Giving

May 18, 2022

The NWBAA tend to bring the beautiful weather and so it was for their annual prize giving that had to be postponed from February due to covid.  Everyone took full advantage of the sunshine and ate paella cooked by Cracklin’ Fayre and drank out in the orchard until it was time to move into the orchard barn (known as Rural Ronnie’s) for the ceremony with cups being awarded for best crops, herds, flocks as well as farm inventions and conservation.

Farmers are busy generally all year round and Adstockistan was the perfect place to relax and chat to friends rarely seen outside  work.  To finish off the evening the newly named ‘Greenfields’ christened the now finished and fully electrified Rural Ronnie’s with music of all genres from the 60’s to the 90’s.

A special thanks must go to the Edgcott and Winslow Young Farmers Club for running the bar and making sure that the evening ran so smoothly.

At least £700 was raised for Siobhan’s Trust that is providing much needed food for refugees on the border of Ukraine and Poland.
