After the traditional Remembrance Day Church service, many villagers walked up to Adstockistan to mark the 100th anniversary of the Armistice that brought an end to the slaughter of World War 1.
The orchard’s fire bowl was used as a beacon and a simple BBQ meal was served. Thank you to the Parish Council for organising the event, which again brought so many families in the village together to use the orchard as an outside village hall on such an important occasion.
